Today’s topic will be extremely fun. Because I’m going to be debunking all hair extension myths that are out there. It will be really helpful if you want to buy some hair extensions or you’re in the market for a new pair of hair extensions. But if you’ve had some bad experiences or you’ve heard some band things about them, hopefully this will clear the air for you if you have any setbacks about buying a new pair of hair extensions. Or you’re very first set of hair extensions.
If you find hair extensions overpriced, I’ve had these hair extensions over 6 months and they’re still really nice. They are soft and manageable. I wear them almost everyday. I’m wearing these extensions from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed. So if you take care of your hair extensions, you will get your money worth.
Myth 1: One of the biggest myth with hair extensions is that it will leave your hair broken, damaged and extremely thin. But that is definitely not the case. My hair is so thick and healthy. Because these hair extensions are clip-ins. They don’t pull out your hair because you take them out at night and you only wear them when you really want to enhance the length and thickness of your hair.
Myth 2: Another misconception of hair extensions is that they won’t blend in with you hair especially if you have thicker hair, it’s definitely something you would consider with UniWigs hair extensions. They are different thicknesses so that you can match your hair to whatever you think would blend the best. I have medium thick hair but i do have a blunt haircut so it makes it looks thicker at the ends. So I blend in my 22 inches UniWigs hair extensions to dirty blonde and it does the trick that no one ever notices that I’m wearing hair extensions and they blend perfectly.
Myth 3: Another reason why people might be afraid of hair extensions is that they think they’ll be showing all the time. I promise you they won’t show if you clip in properly. My advice is never clip them too close to the to the top of your head. Because they probably will show if a gust of wind comes way or you’re sharing your head. I tend to never go higher than my eyebrow. I find you never see them when I clip them here. If I clip them higher, they possibly could pop through. But whenever I clip them here, they are good as gold and they’re hidden. You will never know I’m wearing hair extensions.
